Kids Connection
Kids Connection 134 Washington St. Monte Vista, CO. 81144
The Monte Vista Kids Connection is a State Licensed childcare and youth development program for children aged 5 to 18. We operate an after-school and summer schedule and are closed one Friday per month for professional development. Membership policies include admission, dismissal, and withdrawal terms, as well as a weekly fee structure, late pickup policy, and other fees. The membership handbook details program policies for signing children in and out, staffing, visitors, communication, dress code, child release, adverse weather closures, activities, and child abuse.
Kids Connection emphasizes positive behavior interventions and supports, including a three-step procedure for discipline and guidance. We provide meals and snacks that adhere to federal nutritional guidelines and give our youth a safe place where they feel included and are able to express themselves. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to know more about our program.
